According to foreign media such as Bloomberg and Reuters, China and the United States signed an agreement earlier this week, China will relax its export controls on rare earths, and the United States will correspondingly cancel the export controls on EDA software, jet engines and ethane since late May.

According to reports, US President Trump announced on Wednesday (June 25) that he had signed an agreement with China; White House officials said on Thursday that what was signed was a supplementary understanding on the implementation of the consensus reached by the two sides in the Geneva talks, which aims to accelerate China's rare earth exports to the United States; and US Commerce Secretary Lutnick said on Thursday that the two sides signed an agreement two days ago, China will export rare earths to the United States, and after China does so, the United States will cancel its retaliatory measures against China before the London talks, including export controls on ethane, EDA software and jet engines.
