Last week, the domestic ordinary power Graphite electrode φ300-500 was traded at a price of 12,000-13,100 yuan/ton, and the price of high-power graphite electrode φ300-500 was traded at a price of 13,000-13,500 yuan/ton.      

According to the survey, the blast furnace operating rate of 247 steel mills was 83.82%, an increase of 0.41 percentage points from last week and an increase of 1.01 percentage points from last year; the utilization rate of blast furnace ironmaking capacity was 90.79%, an increase of 0.21 percentage points from last week and an increase of 1.03 percentage points from last year; according to the survey data on June 19, 39 of the 74 black silicon carbide smelting furnaces in China were overhauled, with an operating rate of 47.30%, a decrease of 5.4% from the previous week. 67 of the 203 white fused alumina smelting furnaces in China were overhauled, and the operating rate was 67.00%, which was flat week-on-week. 67 of the 125 brown fused alumina smelting furnaces in China were overhauled, and the operating rate was 46.4%, down 3.2% week-on-week. Last week, the operating rate of blast furnace rose, the operating rate of brown corundum and silicon carbide declined, and the quotation of graphite electrode manufacturers was firm.      

In terms of raw materials: the price of needle coke was stable last week, the price of petroleum coke rose slightly, and the price of asphalt decreased. The overall support of raw material prices was stable, and the price of graphite electrodes remained stable. It is expected that the domestic ordinary power and high power graphite electrode market may temporarily operate in the short term.
